Chehalis Illustrations

Created for Washington Department of Ecology, Office of Chehalis Basin

Chehalis, a city in central Washington state, and its surrounding areas, are involved in an ongoing plan to reduce the effects of flooding. The Chehalis river flows through the City of Chehalis, interstate 5 (a major highway that passes through Oregon, Washington, and onwards to Canada), and several other cities. To simplify communication of the ongoing project, I collaborated with the Office of the Chehalis Basin to create a series of hexagonal tile illustrations covering various benefits, risk, actions, and features. These are then used for promotional, and educational material; primarily for public or agency (government / private stakeholder) presentations.
